Landmannalaugar Nature Reserve
Among Iceland’s most popular attractions is Landmannalaugar National Park. The multi-colored ryolite hills, the Hekla volcano, as well as the vast lava fields are the main attractions of this sacred setting. The popular activities to do are rock biking and horseback riding, and hiking routes vary from a few hours to a couple of days.
Askja has an impressive length of 50 square kilometres. Throughout volcanic activity, the surrounding mountain range has been created, as Askja was triggered largely by an explosion of fire ash that crashed on the roof of the main volcanic eruption’s magma chamber.
A lovely fishing town, centrally located on the north coast of the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The place lies surrounded by hills in a picturesque fjord, with Mt. Kirkjufell appearing as a tourist attraction. Tailwaters and cascades will be exposed.
